Handicrafts in the Loire Valley

With its rich history in every sense of the word, the Loire Valley has always been home to many artisans.
Much of the region's handicrafts date back to the Middle Ages or the Renaissance.  This is the case for pottery in Berry and Puisaye. As for Briare enamels and Gien earthenware, they both date back to the 19th century.
