Visit the Rose Route or stroll through the parks

If you love nature and flora, the Loiret will spoil you! You will find many parks and gardens, including seven classified as remarkable.  This national label is awarded to them when they are of great aesthetic, historical or botanical interest.

L'Echappée Belle B&B is also near two of the finest arboretums in Europe: the Arboretum des Grandes Bruyères and the Arboretum National des Barres. The latter belonged to the de Vilmorin family, who put together a collection that now includes 9,200 trees from every continent.

The Loiret has also created the Rose Route, which allows you to visit various sites that are remarkable for their rose gardens. The route also takes in rose growers, of which there are many in the department, and restaurants with rose menus.
