The Loiret region, and more specifically the Giennois, offers many opportunities because of its location at the crossroads of different regions (Berry, Puisaye, Sancerrois). But it also has a
rich natural environment of forests, canals and the river Loire.
Some of the routes you can take are detailed below.
L'Echappée Belle B&B is an ideal base, situated on the edge of a number of hiking trails and the Loire by Bike route. So all you have to do is
leave the house to take the countryside paths, those along the Loire, the canals or those through the forest.
Here is a selection of trails to help you discover the diversity of the surrounding area.
There are two types of easy hike: those starting from L'Echappée Belle and those with a different starting point but which are well-known in the region.

Leaving the path leading to L'Echappée Belle, cross the road to take the path opposite. Then take the first path on the right that leads to the River Ocre, which you cross by the bridge. Walk
alongside a field and climb a hundred metres or so to reach the crossroads of the footpath with the signposts.
